Ciaran McCormack – Managing Director
Operating in the exciting and always changing High End Fashion Technology Sector, Ciaran McCormack is a young and dynamic Managing Director leading a team of over 300 staff across 34 locations across the UK & Ireland. At Compu b he has overseen a rapid growth phase that has made it one of the largest Apple Premium Resellers in the UK & Ireland. Since his appointment in August 2015, he has delivered an increase in revenues of over 150% and an increase in employment by 40%. Ciaran believes strongly in collaboration and surrounding himself with people who add value to the company both in a business and interpersonal sense. He has put a vastly experienced leadership team in place, whose collective industry experience and ability to retain and develop key staff, has been vital in driving and sustaining the rapid growth of the organisation. Prior to joining Compu b, Ciaran held the role of Channel Manager for Apple, an appointment that came about as a direct result of his 9-year career as one of Ireland’s leading Professional Development Consultants, Retail Sales Trainers and Digital Content Creators. During this time Ciaran had responsibility for the growth of Apple’s Corporate, Retail (Apple Premium Reseller), Business to Business and Public Sector segments.
Alan Victory – Finance Director
Alan joined DIGITAL BOUTIQUE as Finance Director. Alan is a qualified Chartered Accountant having trained originally with EY, with a focus on financial services, assurance, taxation & corporate finance. Alan then moved into the retail services & support industries with The Kleerex Group, for over fifteen years, and then with New Store Europe, based in the Irish HQ and covering the Uk & the worldwide business. After an MBO and other corporate activities, ending with a transition period following the Kleerex sale to New Store Europe, Alan moved into Eason & Son in Dublin as Director of Trading, while also finalising the NSE transition and then working on other consultancy projects. Alan later moved into a full-time CFO role with Celtech Software Group, with a complete focus on Retail and Wholesale software, developing the business considerably, until Alan then joined the DIGITAL BOUTIQUE in early 2018.
Ed Clarkin – Commercial Director
Ed Clarkin joined Digital Boutique in Dec’16. He has extensive industry experience having worked in the wider Telecoms marketplace for almost 18 years both in Distribution with Radius Communications as Commercial Director and with Siemens Mobile and Siemens Enterprise Solutions on the vendor Account Management side. Ed was appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Compu b in January ’18 with responsibility for delivering growth for the corporate and education sectors of the Compu b business. His remit also includes strategic planning implementation and operational oversight of the day to day activities of Compu b corporate and education sectors in both the UK & Ireland. Ed studied at the Institute of Project Management Ireland, The Computer Network Institute and The Dublin Business School.
Jason Smith – Retail Director
As Group Retail Director, Jason Smith is responsible for the development and operations of the DIGITAL BOUTIQUE’s retail portfolio. Jason has a wealth of omni channel experience and oversees the Group’s retail strategy. Jason spent the previous 12 years working for Bang & Olufsen directly and has held numerous commercial, project based and sale lead positions, including Head of Sales for UK/IR and latterly, Head of Global Franchise Recruitment. Prior to joining Bang & Olufsen Jason held senior management positions in both private and corporate owned entities and as such has a great understanding for the need to be both strategic in mindset but agile and hands-on to ensure the business reaches its short and long term goals.
Don Holmes – Sales Director, Blink 24
Don Joined DIGITAL BOUTIQUE in 2019 to head up Blink 24 Distribution business which was established to bring a true boutique distribution offering to the market. Don joins with extensive industry experience having previously being Sales Director within TNS Distribution and managed business units across UK and also eCommerce business in JAPAC region.
Don is a huge believer in the importance of staying true to our values and the importance of partnerships in the distribution network. Having seen changes in the industry in the past number of years Don is tasked with the day to day operational management of Blink 24 as well as the strategic planning for future growth of the business. With this in mind, Don is joined by a dynamic team of key people who are mindful every day of the values of Blink 24 and delivering success for our retail partners.
